All Interfaith Friends welcome at 70th Annual convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA - Jul

What is Jalsa? The Jalsa Salana is an annual convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide. This convention was started by the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, with the first one being held in December 1891. These conventions are held at the international and national levels. The international convention is held near London, UK, and we will hold the USA convention in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in August. Highlights from the 68th Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, held July 29-31, 2016 in Harrisburg, PA can be viewed here. These conventions focus on establishing peace in our community. Sessions are held on various topics from how to raise children given the challenges of modern society to what our role is in establishing world peace. There are speeches, exhibitions, and workshops on various contemporary issues. Who comes to Jalsa?

All Ahmadi Muslim families are expected to attend this convention if they are able. We invite all of our friends to attend, including our elected representatives and our interfaith network.
