Ramadan - Fidya, Fitrana and Eid Fund
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In the name of Allah, The Gracious, The Merciful السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Assalam-o-alaikum wa rehmatullah,
Fidya for Ramadan - For people who are unable to observe fast in Ramadan because of illness, inability or travel etc. The Quranic injunction is that they should pay Fidya as a recompense for the lost opportunity to observe fast. This year the rate of Fidya is set to a minimum of $150 for the month of Ramadan at the rate of $5 per day
Fitrana & Eid Fund - Please do not wait till Eid day to pay Fitrana. The rate of Fitrana is fixed @ $ 5.00 per person (including even a new born before Eid prayer).
Eid Fund - Should be paid according to your capacity.
