[NY JAMA'AT] Humanity First Tanzania Health Clinic, in memory of Nazir Ayaz

In the name of Allah, The Gracious, The Merciful السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Assalam-o-alaikum wa rehmatullah,

Respected members Ayaz sahib was a person of the highest of character, a hard worker, and someone you could always depend on. The past months without him have been difficult, but it’s time to accept that he’s gone and honor the memory of the great man that he was.

Ayaz sahib was born in Tanzania and it’s a country that he was especially fond of. In 2014 he started work towards opening a health clinic in Tanzania. Over the next year and a half he worked tirelessly to make the clinic a reality. In fact, days before he passed away he’d finalized shipment of medical equipment and supplies to Africa. Our goal is not to let his hard work go to waste. We have 60 days to raise $30,000, the number seems high but I know with the help and support of all our friends and family we can meet, if not exceed, this goal.

These funds will be matched by Humanity First, USA to open a health clinic in Dodoma, Tanzania. This will be an open clinic, anyone can get treatment regardless of their income or ability to pay. While it’s going to be a general clinic it will also have a pre/post-natal care room and a women’s health room which is desperately needed in the region.
