[NYJAMA'AT] Masih Maud Day - Sunday March 26, 2017 at 4:30 PM at Bait uz Zafar
In the name of Allah, The Gracious, The Merciful السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Assalam-o-alaikum wa rehmatullah,
We will be holding a Masih Maud Day Program at Bait uz Zafar on Sunday (March 26th, 2017) at 4:30 PM which will end with Maghrib paryer. Dinner will be served after Maghrib prayer. This event is held in remembrance of the start of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community over 100 years ago.
Saturday 23rd March 1889 was the fateful day when Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah(a.s.), accepted the hands of forty faithful servants in allegiance to the Ten Conditions of Bai’at(initiation) and founded the community which he called ‘The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at’. The Promised Messiah(a.s.) took this oath of allegiance at the house of a spiritual preceptor Hadhrat Sufi Ahmad Jan in the city of Ludhiana (Punjab, India). Hadhrat Hakim Maulvi Noor al-Din(r.a.) was the first person to have the honor of taking the first Bai’at. This was a revolutionary yet a very modest beginning to a new chapter in the history of Islam.
