[NY JAMA'AT] SAD NEWS - DEMISE OF VICE PRESIDENT FASASI SUNUSI SAHIB

In the name of Allah, The Gracious, The Merciful السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Assalam-o-alaikum wa rehmatullah,

It is with great sadness that we pass along the news of the passing away of our Vice President Fasasi Sunusi Sahib. He passed away in his home country Nigeria.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

He dedicated his life to serve our Jamaat and was Vice president of New York Jamaat. May Allah grant him elevated status in paradise and reward him for his services to our Jamaat.

His funeral and tadfeen will be taking place in Nigeria. We will inshallah offer his Janaza Ghaib at Bait uz Zafar on Friday March 17, 2017 after Jumma (Jumma starts at 1:15 PM).
